Before You Begin!

    • You are STRONGLY advised to view the 6 minute test video before you begin your 4 day session. You may want to view the test video each time you begin a new session of viewing. If you have any major problems with the test video, this is your first indication that you may need to check your settings. Remember, there are PEAK times on the internet. Due to higher traffic on the internet at certain times of the day, you may experience longer, more frequent re-buffering times.

    • Once your 96 hours are over, THEY'RE OVER. You will have more exposure to the class than anyone who actually attended the live sessions..

Video Troubleshooting

If you're having Video Playback issues such as frequent re-buffering, video-sound syncronization or video initialization failure (doesn't start), follow the instructions below to attempt to fix the issue.

Occasionally, Windows Media Player fails to determine the correct streaming bandwidth for your videos. If you're having trouble with video re-buffering, Jumpy video, video/sound syncronization issues, or video failure; you may need to manually adjust your buffering & connection speed.

  1. Open the Windows Media Player application outside of your Internet Browser. We will be adjusting the buffering settings within the Windows Media Player performance options.
  2. Right Click on "Windows Media Player." Select the menu item Tools > Options... You may also display the menu in the classic format. If this is the case, select Tools > Options...
  3. Within the Options window, select the Performance tab.
  4. Adjust the Connection Speed (Bandwidth) settings to 768Kbps or higher (1Mbps or 10Mbps). Start with 768Kbps and try the video. If that doesn't work, try the 1Mbps then 10Mbps.
  5. Finally, adjust the buffering to 60 seconds and try the Videos.

If these do not work, try resetting it to the Recommended settings and try the video once more.

Before contacting Technical Support, you should attempt uninstalling & reinstalling Windows Media Player. To perform a reinstallation, go to Start > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs. Allow the list to populate. Select Windows Media Player and click "Remove."

ATTENTION: This will Downgrade your Windows Media Player to the Previous version (Version 10). Attempt using this version to view the videos, then Re-install Windows Media Player V11.
